Solutions Architect (ERP Program)

We have been requested to help in the search for a Solution Architect to join an existing project for a min period of 6mths (which will include multiple extensions -  for a period of up to 3yrs) 

The Solution Architect is responsible for collaborating with subject matter experts in various business and technology domains, to ensure that the technical direction of new projects is appropriate and, to guide, design, and document the complete overall technical solutions in keeping with existing enterprise architectural standards and technology strategies.

The successful candidate shall have:
  • A depth of expertise in understanding the touchpoints and interdependencies between Finance and HR modules, and third-party solutions and will own the solution design and lead the functional team to successfully deliver a unified employee experience 
  • A proven ability to develop proof of concept solutions based on business requirements and build strong relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts;
  • A proven ability to provide expert level support and technical mentoring to implementation teams;
  • Proven experience with selection of ERP platforms and end to end participation in at least one HR or Finance cloud-based transformation project/program).
  • An ability to work jointly with the ERP Program Manager, ERP project stream leads, and the Digital Working Enterprise Architect across several priority areas including, but not limited to:
  • Providing end-to-end (E2E) solution architecture to deliver the requirements for ERP project streams;
  • Managing the passage of the E2E solution architecture from draft to endorsed;
  • Liaising with stakeholders (including suppliers/vendors) to resolve issues;
Relevant knowledge, skills and experience in the following aspects of architecture:
  • Operating Model (and service delivery models) from a technology perspective;
  • Enterprise Architecture – how large programs fit into and drive changes to an EA, particularly from an ERP perspective;
  • Business Architecture – business services, business capabilities, links to business processes modelling and management;
  • Information Architecture – data models, package-based/driven data models;
  • Application Architecture - structure, behaviour, and deployment models, with proven experience of one or more industry leading ERP products, (e.g. Oracle, SAP, Workday, etc.); and,
  • Integration Architecture - patterns and practices for high/low latency scenarios, and, familiarity with current on-premise and cloud based integration tools/platforms.
Relevant knowledge, skills and experience with the following frameworks/standards:
  • TOGAF (certification Essential);
  • ArchiMate (highly regarded);
  • ITIL (highly regarded); and,
  • CAUDIT architecture standards (highly regarded).
