Job Title: Cutover/Release Manager - 6-Month Contract

Overview: We are seeking an experienced Cutover/Release Manager for a 6-month contract role. The successful candidate will play a key role in leading the deployment and cutover stream on a large digital transformational project, specifically focusing on Field Service Transformation with a new Field Service Management (FSM) software rollout.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop Deployment/Cutover Strategy across Business and Technology for Field Service Transformation.
  • Establish Cutover Governance structure, planning, and execution.
  • Create and maintain Business and Technical Cutover plans.
  • Coordinate with Program workstreams (data migration, business process, testing, and business readiness).
  • Manage Cutover activities, resolving discrepancies or process issues.
  • Stakeholder management, engaging senior business stakeholders for key decisions.
  • Manage Cutover status reporting to Program stakeholders.
  • Coordinate release planning activities with workstream/sub-workstream leads.
  • Establish Dress Rehearsal and Solution roll-out approach, including testing cutover plans and rollback plans.
  • Liaise with Business Readiness working group for Cutover readiness.
  • Establish detailed checklists to validate readiness across all involved and impacted parties for Cutover.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong experience leading a deployment/cutover stream on a large digital transformational project.
  • Prior experience with FSM implementations and establishing detailed cutover plans tailored to Field Transformation rollouts.
  • Strong experience in Project and Release Management.
  • Familiarity with IFS Field Management System is Essential; experience with IBM Maximo is also advantageous.
This role’s paying up to $1200/day for the right candidate and is an initial 6-month contract with opportunity to extend. Candidates need to have full working rights within Australia – Unfortunately we’re unable to sponsor for this role. Candidates MUST be based in Sydney due to location requirements.
