ERP Program Director

HCM Australia have been engaged by a leading organisation based out of Sydney, NSW, to assist in the search for an established ERP Program Director to join a 3yr program of work - working on a huge transformation program.

As the ERP Program Director , you will be expected to act autonomously and demonstrate initiative within the broad guidelines as set by our clients strategies within local policy and legislation.

The ERP Program Director is responsible for executing to objectives and priorities allocated to them by the Head of IT & Digital.   

Being a pivotal role - you will be working directly alongside the COO and all area's across Finance and IT.
  
Experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in managing large complex transformation programs
  • Previous experience delivering increasingly complex ERP systems implementations preferred.
  • Oracle Transformation project experience is preferred but not essential (R12 to Cloud (to be selected) would be ideal though

The ERP Program Director has responsibility for:

  • Creating a program environment which results in exceptional outcomes underpinned by best practice project/program delivery
  • Working with senior program stakeholders to oversee identification and definition of program scope
  • Planning and coordination of business case development, working closely with product SMEs, internal and external stakeholders
  • Lead the day-to-day management and governance of the program to ensure outcomes are understood and aligned
  • Responsible for finance, scheduling, risk and governance from a hands-on approach
  • Building and managing strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to enable effective and collaborative integration.
  • Lead internal change required to support the new ways of working utilised to deliver strategic outcomes
  • Providing guidance and advice on the key project and governance processes, by offering constructive feedback and challenge on the proposed options and alternatives, and providing an independent view on the delivery risk profile
  • Risk and issue management - responsible for reporting and escalating to stay in line with project delivery
  • Ensure benefit realisations of all initiatives is achieved through well implemented business readiness strategies.
  • Ensure there is executive oversight, financial performance, change impact and prioritisation across the program.
  • Actively motivating, developing, coaching and engaging team members to drive results and create a high performing team

Supervision
  • The position reports directly to the Head of IT, Digital Working
  • Responsible for: 10+ staff (including Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Project Coordinators)
