The Program: As a Sr Business Analyst you will work on significant projects across the NSW Governments Departments Reform Program. The DRP Program is a 3 year Digital Reform Initiative bringing substantial digital Transformation 

Key accountabilities: Analyse existing systems and business processes, applications and functions to ensure strategic objectives are met. Undertake qualitative and quantitative research to identify trends and assist with determining business priorities. Build and maintain key relationships with users, technical staff and stakeholders to determine and resolve issues. Provide accurate advice about technical issues and solutions to assist with specifying business requirements for new or existing solutions.
Key challenges: Establish relationships with stakeholders to develop trust and ensure reliable and accurate information. Distil business needs to identify fit for purpose options.
    
As a Sr. Business Analyst, you will work as part of a multi-disciplined team which is responsible for digital product definition, development, implementation, maintenance and enhancement. The role leads the review and analysis of the organisation's business requirements, intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements.

Responsibilities include:
Plan, support and deliver business analysis work for approved project initiatives in a complex environment.
Analyse and document each Division’s business intentions, existing business processes and information needs.
Identify and document changes to user requirements and user stories for new business solutions and enhancements.
Develop strategies for the continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of all aspects of business analysis work using known frameworks.
Manage and develop stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management.
Define business requirements and trends to enable informed business decisions and service level improvements.
Contribute to the development of project plans (e.g. implementation plans, business requirement specifications, change management, user acceptance testing, training, etc) to facilitate the successful achievement of business initiatives and strategic goals.
Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences.
