Key objectives of the role include:
- Interact with Finance stakeholders to understand, translate and document their business processes into functional specifications for developers.
- Validate business requirements documents, system configuration documents, detailed functional specification documents, test plans and test cases, user training documents and implementation documentation as necessary.
- Work with Senior Developers to design and implement system modifications.
- Provide functional support to the continuous release methodology for PeopleSoft Finance including Oracle image analysis, gap fit analysis and customisation analysis.
- Coordinates user acceptance testing with business and guides users in testing.
- Resolution of service requests, incidents and problems, quickly, accurately and with attention to service delivery excellence.
- Creation and maintenance of business process maps that reflect alignment to Bank policy and procedures, as well as industry standards and best practice.
- Interpretation of business requirements to develop functional specifications for use by Senior Developers.
- Prepare and deliver presentations with regard to outcomes of Finance System projects, support or solution initiatives.
