Our Client, a well known leading System Integrator is seeking to appoint a Java Developer to join the business on an initial 6 month contract engagement with options for extensions based on performance.

Key responsibilities include:
- Perform and manage analysis, design, development, prototyping, unit testing and maintenance activities
- Solve highly complex problems and deliver high-quality solutions
- perform high-level analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions
- Undertake technical design and development of highly complex custom solutions, and/or standard conversion and migration solutions
- Manage the release and ensure go-live production support and maintenance for the team’s developments
- proactively share knowledge and expertise as the subject matter expert, and provide assistance/ mentorship to less experienced colleagues
- Ensure compliance with endorsed software development methodologies
- Provide support to development teams to ensure high-quality custom solution realisation
- Australian citizenship or Permanent residency essential
- At least 3 -6 years’ experience working as a Java developer
- Demonstrated experience of using Java/JEE technologies for at least 3 years.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering end-to-end solutions.
- AWS Serverless knowledge in particular: AWS Lambda
- AWS SQS, AWS Dynamo DB, S3 Buckets.
- Build serverless applications in AWS
- AWS monitoring, deployment, and security
- CI/CD pipelining within AWS
