Knowledge
- Knowledge and experience providing support for enterprise-wide applications.
- Understanding of web architecture, relational databases, basic network architectures
- SaaS platforms and the opportunities and constraints they provide
- Knowledge of building and adapting processes and procedures to ensure appropriate governance surrounding enterprise-wide applications
- Knowledge of LMSs and LTIs
- Business analysis, including requirements elicitation, workshop facilitation, and test plan development and execution
- Software development lifecycle and scripting and development languages (including JavaScript, Bash, CSS, HTML, SQL) and able to script competently in a common Unix scripting language such as Perl or Python
- Knowledge of web services and data transfer and transformation technologies
- Knowledge of change control, change management and release management concepts
Experience
- Providing second-level support of an enterprise-wide application, including stakeholder management
- Managing one or more enterprise-wide core applications on a SaaS platform
- Managing support calls, triaging, troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Experience providing business analysis within an operational team or project context
- Experience working with external vendors, experience with SaaS vendors is highly regarded
- Experience working with sensitive information in a security-conscious environment.
