A new QA role has been created for an Australian owned FinTech firm located here in Sydney. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented QA/Test Analyst with a solid background in leading edge technologies to come onboard and work with a small but highly effective QA team.

The cuccessful candidate will take ownership of the ongoing design and development of the companies registry platform. In this role you will work very closely with Developers, Business Analysts, Product Owners and the Operations team of quality control regarding releases and love working towards tight deadlines. In this role you will report directly into the CIO.

To be a successful candidate for this role, you must have the following:

• 2+ years as a QA or Software Tester
• Broad understanding of different types of tests, their respective phases and their depth and breadth
• Demonstrated documentation skills
• Experience testing web applications  
• Demonstrated ability of converting requirements, user stories or features into comprehensive, repeatable and clear test cases
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Awareness of Data Security and secure testing
• Exposure to SQL databases, queries and invoking REST services (e.g. postman).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or equivalent.
• Highly self-motivated and directed.
• Highly desirable
• Exposure to Selenium, Protractor or any other test automation tool
• Exposure to JavaScript, Python, Java, C# or Ruby
• Exposure to Mobile apps testing
