We've been engaged to source a Peoplesoft Technical Consultant to join a client based out of Sydney on a permanent basis.  

The Consultant will provide technical solutions which comprise performing technical analysis, the development of technical specification and solutions, perform troubleshooting and providing production support, development upgrade advice and guidance, customisation strategies, prototyping and testing.

Some of the role responsibilities;

Implementation of system improvements to the PeopleSoft HR/Global Payroll system including:  
  • Interpretation of functional requirements to enable technical analysis in the creation of technical specifications.
  • Development, coding and unit testing of system enhancements.
  • Other technical tasks such as retrofitting.
  • Providing SIT and UAT support and defect resolution during these test phases.
  • Deployment of changes to Production.
  • On-going post-implementation support.
Experience we're looking for (some):
  • Technical PeopleSoft knowledge in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, SQR reports, SQL, Component interfaces, security, workflow, PL/SQL, Oracle Database,
    Application Designer, PS Queries.
  • Proven experience in all technical phases of SDLC with a primary focus on design, development,
    unit testing and Production deployment and Post-Implementation Support.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing PeopleSoft technical deliverables e.g. technical design
    specifications and system enhancements.
  • Experience in providing technical support in a BAU Operations environment of PeopleSoft HR and/or Global Payroll.Ability to perform issue analysis, troubleshooting and resolution in PeopleSoft HR or Global Payroll.
  • Ability to multitask and willingness to take on tasks of different nature e.g. adaptability in moving from project to BAU support as the need arises.
  • Proficient with using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
