Oracle Manufacturing Functional Consultant

Primary responsibilities will include:
  
  • Oracle Applications R12 modules related to and dependent on Manufacturing such as Inventory control, Manufacture,
    MRP and ASCP planning.
  • Match needs of shop floor to Oracle capabilities and configure as needed
  • Spend considerable time on the shop floor to observe, interact, map, and understand needs and opportunities on the various manufacturing lines
  • Configure and setup various Oracle modules to provide better functions
  • Provide user training and SOP (standard operation procedures)
  • Gather and analyze business requirements to plan projects or improvements
  • Design, build, test and implement solutions for business process requirements
  • Manage small projects of upgrade and solution implementation
  • Independently complete feasibility study, cost-benefit analysis and verifying change results.
  • Work with the technical team, contractors, vendors and users.
  
Job Requirements:
  
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related majors.
  • The candidate would had worked on one implementation of Oracle applications in the following area: Manufacture (Inventory, WIP, BOM, ASCP, MRP).
  • At least 4 years Oracle Applications functional experience with life-cycle implementation experience, including production support
  • Detailed functional knowledge of the modules listed above.
  • Well understanding of Oracle functions and be able to explain to users.
  • Hands-on setup R12 in Supply Chain, Planning, and Manufacturing.
  • Very familiar with Oracle Standard reports and ability to modify as needed
  • Specify and coordinate developing of new reports.
  • Demonstrate solid documentation skill using AIM, such as BR100, MD050, TE040, TE050, MD120, etc.
  • Have done SOP and training material.
  • Experienced in using Oracle API in Manufacture and Inventory.
  • Must be able to demo basic SQL skills.
