We have been requested to assist in securing an Oracle DBA for permanent role based out of Sydney (Some onsite but mostly WFH)
The main focus here will be on Database Administration of the following technologies; Oracle, SQL server and Cloud Databases (AWS/Azure).

- Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing, education and production usage, as well as creating new database users.
- Performs ongoing tuning of the database instances.
- Implements and enforces security for all of the Oracle Databases.
- Performs database re-organisations as required to assist performance and ensure maximum up-time.
- Provides technical support to application development/support team.
- Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures.
- Troubleshoots problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
- Experience with administration of Oracle eBusiness Suite or other enterprise applications as an App DBA.
- Experience with migration of on premise database to cloud like Azure or AWS.
- Solid DBA background across both Oracle, SQL and Cloud Databases
- Working knowledge on especially migrating Databases to cloud to AWS or Azure.
- Oracle Enterprise Manager(OEM)
- Good knowledge of database backup and recovery scenarios.
- Application server technologies (OAS, WebLogic)
- Working knowledge of UNIX/LINUX/MS operating systems.
- Working knowledge / familiarity with MacAfee DAM product is beneficial.
