Role: Customer Experience Designer
Location: Sydney Location
Term: 8 Month Contract
Remuneration: $525 - $786 PLUS Super per day

Large Public Sector organisation is looking for a strong and experienced CX Designer able to manage the review and analysis of the organisation's business intentions, services, processes and information needs to identify changes that lead to business improvements. This organisation is investing heavily in modernising its environment and the customer experience and offers a great opportunity to lead on significant improvements in a high profile environment.

Key accountabilities:
  • Enhance business systems by providing accurate information about business needs and priorities 
  • Analyse and consolidate information to develop business cases to support achievement of business objectives 
  • Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences 
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify how changing business requirements may be delivered with existing solutions 
  • Guide and support team members to provide customer focused services

Experience and Skills: 
  • Work with project stakeholders (business, technical and customer-facing) to gather requirements, develop product specifications and translate these into wireframes, mock-ups and UI specifications that integrate business objectives with customer needs.
  • Determine and recommend customer experience tasks, tools, deliverables and milestones, including the development of customer journeys, scenarios/use cases, navigational structures, sitemaps, screen designs, and interactional models
  • Relevant tertiary qualification or strong experience in both user interaction and visual design
  • Experience designing solutions that span multiple devices (desktop, smartphone, tablet, digital kiosks) and multiple customer contexts
  • Detailed knowledge of customer experience best practices, including usability and accessibility
