The Business
This Firm, have built a data management and reporting platform on top of SQL Server (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS) with full featured OLAP, Reporting and Dashboards. This platform has strong integration with a number of Mid Market ERPs, and reduces both the time the risk in building new reporting environments.
The Job
As a BI Consultant, you will be responsible for implementation and Tier 1 level support of BI applications, architecture and customer solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Install and configure software for customers and/or partners.
· Analyse customer business requirements and develop solutions to meet or exceed the requirements
· Sustain expert-level knowledge regarding application of the products to meet customer and partner opportunities.
· Work on multiple projects simultaneously and proactively report to leadership on progression against tasks
· Deliver excellent customer satisfaction through creative solutions preserving the value presented in the sales’ process.
· Deliver excellent customer service through responsive support and communications.
· Contribute to product improvement, based on experience with the product suite and solutions.
Qualifications:
· BA/BS degree preferred
· Experience w/Microsoft Business Intelligence stack, including SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, and SSRS.
· Experience with data warehouse architecture and OLAP cube design
· Experience writing SQL queries
· Knowledge and/or implementation experience with Microsoft Dynamics products (AX, NAV and CRM) or Sage ERP is preferred
· Experience working in a client-facing technical service and support environment
· Ability to comprehend complex technical concepts and communicate to a non-technical audience
· Demonstrated collaboration, leadership, and organisational skills.
· Ability to work well in teams.
· Strong analytical skills along with the ability to solve business critical requirements and issues.
· Effective oral and written communication skills.
Location - Sydney
· Candidate in should live in major metropolitan area of Australia; willing to travel as needed (typically less than 25%)
